What is the ALMM?

The Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) is a mandatory quality-assurance registry maintained by MNRE, introduced through the MNRE Order dated 29 March 2019.

Who must comply

• All grid-connected projects receiving government subsidies
• Open-access solar projects above the state threshold
• Projects used for RPO compliance
• PM Suryaghar (PMSGUY) residential rooftop installations receiving CFA

How to get ALMM listed

Manufacturers must submit IEC 61215 + IEC 61730 (modules) or IEC 62109 (inverters) certification from a BIS-authorised lab, apply to MNRE with factory audit clearance, and undergo periodic re-verification.
